There are many reasons why we are passionate about starting this
new church. Here are a few:
1 - Church planting is biblical. The New Testament encourages church planting. The apostle Paul’s whole strategy was to plant churches in the city and to move to another city and plant another.
2 - Church planting is still needed. Countless studies have shown that new churches are 6-8 times more effective at reaching the unchurched and are the best way to meet new residents, generations, people groups.
3 - More churches reach society better than fewer churches. The number of churches in the US as a percentage of population is historically tied to how well the population is reached. In the past century, there has been a large drop off in the number of new churches as a percentage of the population.
